This is my personal blog so that I can share our special moments with family and friends, talk about things that are important to me and have a place to keep memories that our family can come back to. I hope that you enjoy it!

A good day....
Today we had the privilege of going to church...something not to be taken for granted in this world these days! Pastor Steve did another great job on his teaching series..today it was on parenting. Motivating, convicting, rebuking (in a good, biblical sense), and encouraging are some of the words that I would use to describe it. Uncle Scott and Aunt Becky have our kids for the night...it was meant to be a 'boys slumber party' b/c Judah and Tiernan were sad when Gianna had a girls night not too long ago. So, even though Gianna was invited to this one, it was going to be focussed on fun things that would especially make the boys happy. Because we had a night with no kids, Ben and I went to watch a movie - not something that we get to do very often at all...it had some inspiring scenes in it and one of the scenes was a father crying as he was saying goodbye to his 19 year old son. You could see how much he loved him! We were both tearing up. We both were talking after about how much we love our parents and how much we love being parents. Two things to not take for granted either! Thank you God, that you are faithful to give us what we need to fulfill the roles you have given us. Thank you for your grace and forgiveness when we fail at times. Thank you that "your mercies are new every day". Thank you that we have the gift of loving and being loved. Thank you that your love for us is the perfect and most complete love ever given......

We have been busy getting things packed and into our crates and the last couple of days we did a last minute garage sale with my sister Becky. Yesterday, after not much business, we decided to pack up our things in the van and haul them off to the thrift store! You can barely see me and Becky but we were in the van with boxes piled on top and around us, trying to drive at the same time!
